Let’s talk about a couple of useful ways to build on the success of others. Learning and adapting to the constant changes that are going on in the marketing scene is a ‘must do’.

Model a Great Marketing Strategy
First, and easiest... you can follow, step by step, in the footsteps of the successful. This is probably the most common way to model success...

Perhaps you will automatically know of a mentor... Maybe not, but there are literally hundreds, or possibly thousands of products detailing the successful strategies of others.

Now, following the exact steps of someone else is not for everyone... Like me, personally, I can't help but get creative...so....

Take Something Great and Make It Better
Another powerful approach for modeling success is to take something that already works and find ways to build on it. With this approach, you take what someone did right and mold it into your own system.

To be honest with you, in my experience, it’s nearly impossible to find detailed success stories; I’ve found a few resources, but they aren’t free. What I saw as I searched for successful plans to ‘rebuild’ is that all of the so called success stories were just advertisements.... I suppose that this is a marketing world.

I will however acknowledge one amazing resource for learning about the steps that others have taken to find success...
